Analysis of the Efficacy of Iliac Vein Stenting in the Deep Vein Post-thrombotic Syndrome
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of iliac vein stenting in the treatment of post-thrombotic syndrome. Methods The clinical data of 68 patients with post-thrombotic syndrome(PTS)admitted to Liuzhou Liutie Central Hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were retrospectively collected.According to their treatment methods, they were divided into stent treatment group(40 cases)and conservative treatment group(28 cases). The stent treatment group was treated with iliac vein balloon dilatation stent implantation, and the conservative treatment group was treated with conservative treatment. The Villalta score and vascular patency rate were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in Villalta score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the Villalta scores of the two groups at 3 months,6 months and 12 months after operation were lower than those before operation, and the Villalta scores of the stent treatment group at 3 months and 6 months after operation were(10.81±2.97)points and(8.62±2.68)points,respectively,which were lower than the conservative treat-ment group's(12.54±3.81)points and(9.81±1.64)points,the differences were statistically significant(t=2.103,2.089,all P<0.05).The vascular patency rates 80.00%(32/40),90.00%(36/40)and 95.00%(38/40)of the stent treatment group at 3 months,6 months and 12 months after treatment were higher than 57.14%(16/28),67.86%(19/28),75.00%(21/28)of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Iliac vein stent implantation in the treatment of lower extremity venous occlusive diseases can improve the postoperative ve-nous patency rate, reduce the clinical symptoms of lower limbs, and improve the postoperative quality of life of pa-tients.
