Objective To analyze the causes of adverse reactions caused by the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium.Methods The incidence of adverse reactions caused by the combined use of piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium and traditional Chinese medicine decoction in one patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)admitted to Qianxi People's Hospital on February 22,2022 was analyzed.Results The mechanism of adverse reactions is related to the combined application of drugs.Conclusion The adverse reactions of piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium combined with traditional Chinese medicine should be highly concerned by medical workers to ensure the safety of clinical medication.
