The Effect of Tigecycline Combined with Meropenem in the Treatment of Severe Abdominal Infection and Its Impact on Blood Routine and Bio-chemical Indicators
Objective To analyze the effect of combined use of tigecycline and meropenem in severe abdominal infec-tion and its improvement on blood routine and blood biochemical indexes. Methods A total of 97 patients with severe abdominal infection admitted to Yangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Jiangsu Province from March 2020 to December 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group(48 cases)and observation group(49 cases)by different treatment method. The control group was treated with meropenem, and the observation group was treated with tigecycline combined with meropenem. The improvement of all aspects af-ter treatment was compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the body temperature(36.81±0.60)℃,respiratory rate(16.74±2.52)times/min and heart rate(75.42±5.82)times/min in the observation group were lower than(37.34±0.65)℃,(18.41±2.71)times/min and(80.56±6.03)times/min in the control group, the systolic blood pres-sure(112.54±12.17)mmHg and diastolic blood pressure(74.06±5.41)mmHg were higher than(104.41±12.06)mmHg and(71.31±5.52)mmHg in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=4.174,3.144,4.272,3.304,2.478,all P<0.05);the blood routine and biochemical indexes of the control group were worse than those of the observation group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The immunoglobulin in the control group was lower than that in the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclu-sion For patients with severe abdominal infection, the combined use of tigecycline and meropenem can improve physi-ological function, blood routine and blood biochemical indicators, and improve immunity.
