Effect of Stereotactic Minimally Invasive Surgery on Hematoma Clearance Rate,Motor Evoked Potential and Degree of Neurological Deficit in Pa-tients with Brainstem Hemorrhage
Objective To investigate the effect of minimally invasive stereotactic surgery on brain stem hemorrhage,re-moval of hematoma, motor evoked potential and neurological function defect. Methods A total of 100 patients with brainstem hemorrhage admitted to Wenshang County People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were ran-domly selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into observation group(n=50)and control group(n=50).The control group was treated with conventional craniotomy hematoma re-moval,while the observation group was treated with minimally invasive stereotactic surgery. The hematoma clearance rate, the changes of motor evoked potential indexes, neurological function, cognative function and related complica-tions before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The hematoma clearance rate of the observation group was 100.00%(50/50),which was higher than that of the control group 84.00%(42/50),and the dif-ference was statistically significant(χ2=6.658,P<0.05).After 14 days of treatment, the motor evoked potentials of up-per and lower limbs in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were sta-tistically significant(both P<0.05).On the 14 days and 30 days of treatment, the scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of Mini-mental State Examination Scale were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.00%(1/50),which was lower than 16.00%(8/50)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.395,P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional treatment, stereotactic minimally invasive surgery for patients with brain stem hemorrhage can im-prove the clearance rate of hematoma, shorten the motor evoked potential value of upper and lower limbs, change the nerve defect, promote the postoperative cognitive function recovery of patients, and reduce the incidence of complica-tions.
