Safety Analysis of Laparoscopic Transabdominal Preperitoneal Repair in Inguinal Hernia
Objective To analyze the effect of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal repair in inguinal hernia. Methods A total of 75 patients with inguinal hernia admitted to the Department of General Surgery,Huishan District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Wuxi City from January 2019 to January 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects. They were divided into reference group(37 cases)and observation group(38 cases)by different surgical methods. The reference group was treated with plain film tension-free hernia repair, and the observation group was treated with laparoscopic transperitoneal preperitoneal repair. The operation, recovery, rehabilitation e fficiency, complication rate and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant differ-ence in operation time, rehabilitation efficiency and postoperative highest body temperature between the two groups(all P>0.05).The time of getting out of bed, exhaust and hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than those in the reference group, the amount of bleeding was less than that in the reference group, and the recurrence rate was lower than that in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of complica-tions in the observation group was 5.26%(2/38),which was lower than 27.03%(10/37)in the reference group, the differ-ence was statistically significant(χ2=6.607,P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal repair has a definite effect on inguinal hernia and has good security.
