Analysis of the Effects of Improved Adhesive Fixation Implant Denture Re-pair Therapy on Alveolar Bone Height,Thickness, and Bone Resorption in Patients with Posterior Tooth Defects
Objective To analyze the impact of improved adhesive fixation implant denture repair therapy on patients with posterior tooth defects. Methods A total of 80 patients with posterior teeth defect who received repair treatment in Zhenjiang Stomatological Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were simple randomly selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to different repair methods, with 40 cases in each group. The control group underwent traditional adhesive retention implant denture repair, and the observation group underwent modified adhesive retention implant denture repair. The height and thickness of alveolar bone, bone resorp-tion,periodontal health, and levels of inflammatory factors in gingival crevicular fluid were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the height and thickness of labial alveolar bone in the observation group were(6.12±1.34)mm and(0.79±0.18)mm,respectively,which were higher than(5.35±0.89)mm and(0.66±0.15)mm in the con-trol group, the bone resorption in the observation group was(4.70±0.42)mm,which was lower than(5.89±0.76)mm in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.027,3.509,8.667,all P<0.05).After treatment, the plaque index, gingival index, levels of inflammatory factors in gingival crevicular fluid and probing depth in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The improved adhesive fixation implant denture repair therapy can inhibit bone resorption around the implant, improve periodontal health, reduce inflammatory reactions.
