Exploring on the Application Effect of Tonsillectomy Combined with Nasal Endoscopic Adenoidectomy in the Treatment of Pediatric Snoring
Objective To explore the efficacy of tonsillectomy combined with nasal endoscopic adenoidectomy in the treatment of pediatric snoring.Methods From January to June 2023,60 children with snoring in Liaocheng Dongchangfu District Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital were simple randomly selected as the research objects.According to the different treatment methods,they were divided into study group(30 cases)and reference group(30 cases).The reference group was treated with tonsillectomy,and the study group was combined with nasal endoscopic adenoidectomy.The therapeutic effects,surgical indicators,quality of life and improvement of clinical symptoms were compared between children in two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 100.00%(30/30),which was better than 80.00%(24/30)in the reference group,the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=4.630,P＜0.05).The operation time of the study group was longer than that of the reference group,the differ-ence was statistically significant(P＜0.05),there was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss and hospital-ization time between children in two groups(both P＞0.05).After treatment,the quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the clinical symptom score was lower than that of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(both P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with traditional tonsillectomy,tonsil-lectomy combined with nasal endoscopic adenoidectomy has a better therapeutic effect on pediatric snoring and can improve the quality of life of children.
