Effects of Low-dose Insulin Pump on the First-aid Effect of Diabetic Pa-tients with Ketoacidosis in Emergency Department
Objective To explore the effects of low-dose insulin pump for emergency treatment of patients with emer-gency Diabetic Ketoacidosis(DKA).Methods A total of 80 DKA patients admitted to the Emergency Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Mudanjiang Medical College from June 2021 to June 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to the different treatment meth-ods,with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given continuous intravenous infusion of insulin, and the ob-servation group was given low-dose insulin pump. The treatment-related indicators level, total effective rate, blood glucose level, oxidative stress indicators level, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results Af-ter treatment, the treatment related indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.50%(39/40),which was higher than that of the control group 85.00%(34/40),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.914,P<0.05).After treatment, the fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After treatment, the malondialdehyde level in observation group was lower than that in control group, superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of low-dose insulin pump in emer-gency DKA patients is significant, which can improve clinical therapeutic indexes, reduce the occurrence of complica-tions,and has high safety.
