Effect of Individualized Medical Nutrition Combined with Insulin on the Treatment of GDM and Its Influence on Blood Glucose Standard
Objective To investigate the effect of combined personalized medical nutrition plus insulin in the treat-ment of gestational diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 77 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)admit-ted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from March 2021 to October 2022 were conveniently selected as the study objects.They were divided into control group and observation group by different treatment methods.The control group(n=38)was given insulin treatment.Observation group(n=39)was given individualized medical nutrition treatment on the basis of control group.Blood glucose levels,nutrition index level and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the glycosylated hemoglo-bin A1c(6.17±1.06)%,fasting blood glucose(6.50±1.20)mmol/L and 2 h postprandial blood glucose(8.31±1.61)mmol/L in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(7.40±1.11)%,(8.39±1.30)mmol/L,(10.41±1.54)mmol/L,the differences were statistically significant(t=4.974,6.632,5.846,all P＜0.05).The nutritional index level of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions(abnormal amniotic fluid volume,postpartum hemorrhage,combined hypertension)between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Individu-alized medical nutrition combined with insulin is effective in the treatment of gestational diabetes,improving nutri-tional status and reducing blood glucose levels.
