Analysis of the Application Effect of Aripiprazole in the Treatment of Schizophrenia in Children and Adolescents
Objective To explore the efficacy of aripiprazole in the treatment of schizophrenia in children and adoles-cents.Methods A total of 44 adolescent schizophrenic patients admitted to Xiamen Xianyue Hospital(Xiamen Mental Health Center)from March 2020 to March 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group(22 cases,risperidone tablets treatment)and observation group(22 cases,aripiprazole treatment)by different treatment methods.The mental symptom scores,clinical efficacy and neurotransmitters levels were compared between patients in two groups.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the scores of mental symptoms between patients in two groups(P＞0.05).After 2 weeks,4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment,the scores of mental symptoms in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P＜0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 100.00%(22/22),which was higher than 81.82%(18/22)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.400,P=0.035).After treatment,the serum levels of dopamine,5-hydroxytryptamine and norepinephrine in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Aripiprazole treatment in children and adolescents with schizophrenia can better control mental symp-toms,improve the level of neurotransmitters in patients,and obtain ideal curative effect,which has clinical value.
