Analysis of the Effect of De-escalation Treatment of Chronic Prostatitis with Erectile Dysfunction with Tadalafil Tablets
Objective To explore the effect of tadalafil tablets de-escalation therapy on erectile dysfunction in chronic prostatitis.Methods A total of 70 patients with chronic prostatitis complicated with erectile dysfunction admitted to the Department of Urology,Jiangyin People's Hospital from September 2021 to September 2023 were randomly se-lected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into the reference group(35 cases,routine treatment)and the study group(35 cases,tadalafil tablets de-escalation treatment).The effective rate of treatment,prostatitis symptom index,international index of erectile function-5,erectile hardness,prostatic cor-puscle leakage protein level and penile hemodynamics were compared between the two groups.Results The total effec-tive rate of treatment in the study group was 97.14%(34/35),which was higher than 82.86%(29/25)in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.968,P=0.046).After treatment,the prostatitis symptom in-dex of the study group was lower than that of the reference group,and the international index of erectile function-5 and erectile hardness score were higher than those of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The level of prostatic corpuscle leakage protein in the study group was lower than that in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The resistance index and end-diastolic velocity of the study group were higher than those of the reference group,and the peak systolic velocity was lower than that of the ref-erence group,the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of tadalafil tablets in the treatment of chronic prostatitis with erectile dysfunction has obvious clinical application value.
