Analysis of the Effectiveness of Using High-quality Midwifery Nursing Ser-vices for Elderly Parturients
Objective To explore the effectiveness of using high-quality midwifery nursing services for elderly parturi-ents.Methods A total of 88 elderly parturients admitted to Caoxian People's Hospital from April 2022 to October 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into reference group and observation group with 44 cases in each group by different nursing mode.The reference group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given high-quality midwifery nursing service mode based on the reference group.After delivery,the out-comes of labor,labor process,psychological state and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results The vaginal delivery rate in the observation group was 84.09%(37/44)higher than that in the reference group 61.36%(27/44),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.729,P=0.017).The first stage of labor,the second stage of la-bor,the third stage of labor and the total stage of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the refer-ence group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).After nursing,the scores of Self-rating Anxi-ety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale in two groups were lower than before nursing,and the observation group was lower than the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction of observation group was higher than that of reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The high quality midwifery nursing has good clinical effect,which can improve the vaginal delivery rate,shorten the labor process,reduce the bad psychology of the pregnant women,and improve the satisfaction of the preg-nant women,which has clinical reference significance.
