Effect of Comprehensive Nursing on the Quality of Life,Prone Mechanical Ventilation Function, and Incidence of Pressure Injury in Patients with Se-vere Pneumonia Complicated with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome
Objective To explore the effects of comprehensive nursing on the quality of life, prone mechanical ventila-tion function, and incidence of pressure injury in patients with severe pneumonia(SP)complicated with acute respira-tory distress syndrome(ARDS).Methods A total of 98 patients with SP-ARDS admitted to the intensive care unit of Fangchenggang First People's Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects.According to the different nursing modes, they were divided into observation group(n=49)and control group(n=49).The observation group was given comprehensive nursing, and the control group was given routine nursing. The pulmonary ventilation function indexes, quality of life scores and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the pulmonary ventilation function indexes of the two groups, the levels of maximum ventilation volume, vital capacity and forced expiratory volume in the first second after nursing were higher than those before nursing, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The quality of life evaluation scale score of the observation group after nursing was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the ob-servation group 4.08%(2/49)was lower than that in the control group 18.37%(9/49),and the difference was statisti-cally significant(χ2=5.018,P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing for SP-ARDS patients can improve postopera-tive quality of life, reduce the occurrence of pressure injuries, and provide reference for clinical practice.
