Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture in the Treatment of Vestibular Migraine(Phlegm Dampness Type)Clinical Efficacy Study
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Zhu's scalp acupuncture in the treatment of vestibular migraine(phlegm-dampness type). Methods Patients(80 cases)with vestibular migraine(phlegm-dampness type)in Yanji Hos-pital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2023 to March 2024 were randomly selected and divided into con-trol and treatment groups by different treatment methods, each group had 40 cases. The patients in the control group were treated with oral western medicine, and the patients in the treatment group were treated with Zhu's scalp acu-puncture.The total effective rate of treatment, clinical symptom score and severity of vertigo disorder were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group 95.0%(38/40)was higher than that of the control group 80.0%(32/40),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.114,P<0.05).After treatment, the clinical symptom scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the clinical symptom scores were lower than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the vertigo disorder scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the vertigo disorder of the treat-ment group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclu-sion The clinical efficacy of Zhu's scalp acupuncture in the treatment of vestibular migraine(phlegm-dampness type)is significant, which can improve the clinical symptoms of patients and reduce the vertigo disorder of patients.
