Application of Modified Ditan Decoction and Taohong Siwu Decoction in Patients with Cerebral Infarction of Phlegm-stasis Blocking Type and Its Effect on Neurological Function and Oxidative Stress
Objective To investigate the application of Jiawei Ditan Decoction combined with Taohong Siwu Decoc-tion in patients with cerebral infarction of phlegm and blood stasis type and its effect on neurological function and oxi-dative stress.Methods From January 2021 to December 2023,106 patients with cerebral infarction of phlegm and blood stasis type admitted to the People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were prospective randomly selected and divided into observation group and control group by different treatment meth-ods,53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Fufang Dilong tablets,and the observation group was treated with modified Ditan decoction combined with Taohong Siwu decoction.The total effective rate,syndrome score,neurological function and oxidative stress level were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group[94.34%(50/53)]was higher than that of the control group[81.13%(43/53)],and the differ-ence was statistically significant(χ2=4.296,P=0.038).After treatment,the indexes of syndrome scores(main symp-toms,secondary symptoms and total scores)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).After treatment,the neurological deficit score of the observa-tion group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treat-ment,the superoxide dismutase in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the malondial-dehyde and advanced oxidation protein products were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statis-tically significant(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Modified Ditan Decoction combined with Taohong Siwu Decoction can im-prove the efficacy of patients with cerebral infarction of phlegm-stasis blocking type,accelerate the relief of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes,and improve neurological function and oxidative stress.
