Effect of Pharmaceutical Care Combined with Intensive Health Education in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To explore the application effect of pharmaceutical care combined with health education in pa-tients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 86 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease admitted to Jiyang District People's Hospital of Jinan City from April 2021 to December 2022 were conveniently selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group and observation group ac-cording to the different methods, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was given health education, and the observation group was given pharmaceutical care combined with health education. Both groups of patients continued to intervene for 2 weeks. The medication compliance, medication knowledge and adverse reactions were compared be-tween the two groups. Results The medication compliance of the observation group was 95.35%(41/43),which was higher than 81.40%(35/41)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.074,P=0.044).After intervention, the scores of medication knowledge in the observation group were higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 4.65%(2/43),lower than 18.60%(8/43)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.074,P<0.05).Conclusion Pharmaceutical care combined with health education has a good application effect in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which is conducive to enhancing their mastery of medication knowledge, improving medication compliance and reducing the occurrence of adverse reactions.
