Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Atorvastatin in the Treatment of Asymptom-atic Heart Failure Patients after Myocardial Infarction
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of atorvastatin in the treatment of asymptomatic heart failure pa-tients after myocardial infarction. Methods In this study,134 patients with myocardial infarction admitted to the De-partment of Cardiology at Jilin Province People's Hospital from September 2021 to February 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods, control group(n=67)receiving conventional treatment and observation group(n=67)receiving atorvastatin treatment.Cardiac function indexes, adverse reactions and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there were no significant differences in left ventricular ejection fraction, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular end-systolic diameter between the two groups(all P>0.05);after treatment, left ventricular ejection fraction in observation group was higher than control group, and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ven-tricular end-systolic diameter were lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 7.46%(5/67),lower than that in the control group 19.40%(13/67),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.107,P=0.043).Before treatment, there was no signifi-cant difference in quality of life scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the life quality score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of atorvastatin in the treatment of asymptomatic heart failure after myocardial infarction is better, which is helpful to further relieve the basic symptoms of patients.
