Effect of Mometasone Furoate Nasal Spray Combined with Montelukast Sodium in the Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis
Objective To study the effect of mometasone furoate nasal spray and montelukast sodium on allergic rhini-tis.Methods A total of 380 patients with allergic rhinitis admitted to Yankuang New Jounrey General Hospital from November 2022 to December 2023 were simple randomly selected as the research objects,and they were divided into groups according to different treatment regimens.The control group(n=190)was only treated with mometasone furoate nasal spray,and the observation group(n=190)was treated combined with montelukast sodium.The clinical efficacy,clinical symptom score and serological indexes of the two groups were analyzed.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.37%(185/190),which was higher than 89.47%(170/190)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=9.633,P<0.05).After treatment,the clinical symptom score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of interleukin-4 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the levels of interleukin-8 and immunoglobulin E were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of mometasone furoate nasal spray and montelukast sodium for allergic rhinitis patients can further improve the therapeutic effect,reduce inflammatory reaction,improve immune status,and alleviate clinical symptoms.
