Objective To analyze the effect of comprehensive nursing on infantile diarrhea and its impact on family satisfaction.Methods A total of 70 infants and toddlers treated for diarrhea in the pediatrics department of Jinan Ma-ternal and Child Health Hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were randomly selected as the study subjects.All the children were cared by family members and were divided into basic nursing group(n=35)and comprehensive nursing group(n=35)according to different nursing methods.The diarrhea relief time,antiemetic time and febrile time,the family's compliance and the family's nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The diar-rhea remission time,antiemetic time and antipyretic time in the comprehensive nursing group were shorter than those in the basic nursing group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The compliance of family members in the comprehensive nursing group was 94.28%(33/35)and the nursing satisfaction of family members was 100.00%(35/35),which were higher than those in the basic nursing group 74.28%(26/35)and 80.00%(28/35),the differences were statistically significant(χ2=5.285,5.714,both P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing is effec-tive in the treatment of infantile diarrhea,which can improve family satisfaction and compliance.
