Influence of Rhubarb Compound Enema on Effect of Stage 3-5(Non-dialysis)and Intestinal Flora in CKD
Objective To assess the efficacy of rhubarb compound enema in treating chronic renal disease stage 3-5(Non-dialysis)and Influence on Gut Flora. Methods A total of 80 patients with stage 3-5 chronic kidney disease(Non-dialysis)admitted to Rudong County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group and observation group ac-cording to different treatment methods, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine treat-ment,and the observation group was treated with rhubarb compound enema on the basis of routine treatment. The in-testinal flora, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score and renal function were compared between patients in two groups. Results After treatment, the Escherichia coli index(2.81±0.55)log10 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(3.35±0.54)log10,Bifidobacterium(3.99±0.15)log10 and Lactobacillus index(3.88±0.49)log10 were higher than those in the control group(2.79±1.05)log10,(3.33±0.37)log10,the differences were statistically significant(t=2.215,3.578,2.833,all P<0.05).After tratment the scores of TCM syndromes in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Af-ter tratment the renal function index of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, but the differ-ence was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of rhubarb compound enema for patients with chronic renal disease stage 3-5(Non-dialysis)was significant, and could improve the gut flora.
