Analysis of Effect of Microchannel Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy on Stone Clearance and Postoperative Complications in Patients with Com-plex Renal Calculi
Objective To investigate the effect of microchannel percutaneous nephrolithotripsy(PCNL)on stone clear-ance and postoperative complications in patients with complex renal calculi. Methods A total of 100 patients with complex renal calculi diagnosed in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from May 2021 to Febru-ary 2024 were simple randomly selected as the research objects.According to the surgical methods, they were divided into two groups, with 50 cases in each group. The control group underwent standard channel PCNL,and the observa-tion group underwent microchannel PCNL.The stone clearance effect, perioperative basic indicators, body inflamma-tion before and after surgery, and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the one-time stone clearance rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The amount of bleeding in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the time of getting out of bed and hospi-talization after operation were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).3 days after surgery, the inflammatory indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was 8.00%(4/50),which was lower than 24.00%(12/50)in the control group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(χ2=4.762,P<0.05).Conclusion The stone clearance effect of microchannel PCNL on patients with complex renal calculi is comparable to that of standard channel PCNL.At the same time,it can signifi-cantly reduce intraoperative bleeding, accelerate postoperative functional recovery, reduce the body's inflammatory re-sponse and reduce complications.
