Effect of Ranibizumab Combined with Laser Photocoagulation in the Treatment of Diabetes Retinopathy and Its Influence on Retinal Hemody-namics
Objective To analyze the effect of ranibizumab combined with laser photocoagulation on patients with dia-betic retinopathy.Methods A total of 84 patients with diabetic retinopathy admitted to the Department of Ophthalmol-ogy,Wulian County People's Hospital of Rizhao City from September 2020 to September 2023 were conveniently se-lected as the research objects.According to different treatment plans,they were divided into control group and obser-vation group,with 42 cases in each group.The control group was treated with laser photocoagulation,and the observa-tion group was treated with laser photocoagulation combined with ranibizumab.The clinical therapeutic effect,visual acuity improvement,retinal hemodynamics(mean velocity,pulse index,resistance index)and adverse reaction were compared between patients in two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.24%(40/42),which was higher than 80.95%(34/42)in the control group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=4.087,P<0.05).After treatment,the best corrected visual acuity,mean velocity,pulse index and resis-tance index of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of ranibizumab and laser photocoagulation can improve the visual acu-ity and retinal hemodynamics of Diabetes retinopathy patients without serious complications.
