Application Value of Whole Nutrition Nursing Management in Patients with Esophageal Cancer Undergoing Simultaneous Chemoradiotherapy
Objective Analyanalyze the application value of whole nutrition nursing management in esophageal cancer. Methods A total of 80 patients with esophageal cancer undergoing simultaneous chemoradiotherapy admitted to Tai'an Central Hospital from January to December 2021 were randomly selected as the research objects. They were di-vided into routine group(40 cases, routine nutrition nursing management)and observation group(40 cases, routine nursing management+whole nutrition nursing management)according to different nursing methods. The excellent and good rate of energy intake compliance, nutritional status score, malnutrition risk score and health survey summary score before and after nursing intervention and nursing satisfaction were compared and analyzed between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of energy intake during radiotherapy and chemotherapy and the satisfac-tion evaluation of nursing service in the observation group were 97.50%(39/40)and 97.50%(39/40),respectively,which were higher than 80.00%(32/40)and 77.50%(31/40)in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=4.057,7.314,both P<0.05).After intervention, the MOS Item Short From Health Survey scores in ob-servation was higher than that in the routine group, the Patient-generated Subjective Global Assessment scores and the Malnutrition-Inflammation Score were lower than those in the routine group, the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Whole-process nutrition nursing management is a new nursing program, which fo-cuses more on nutrition management, especially in patients with synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy of esophageal cancer, which can improve the immunity of patients and reduce the risk of adverse reactions related to syn-chronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy,so as to achieve ideal nursing effect.
