Analysis of the Occurrence Status,Risk Factors and Intervention Strate-gies of Vertebral Compression Fractures in Patients with Postmenopausal Osteoporosis
Objective To analyze the incidence, risk factors and intervention strategies of vertebral compression frac-tures(VCF)in patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP).Methods Sixty PMOP patients admitted to Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital Bijie Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were simple randomly selected as the re-search objects. The incidence of VCF was counted;in addition, the baseline data of the patients were collected, and univariate and multivariate unconditional Logistic regression analysis methods were used to screen out the relevant risk factors for the occurrence of VCF.Results Among the 60 patients with PMOP,the incidence of VCF was 23.33%(14/60);the results of univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in diabetes history, abnormal reduction of bone mineral density, sunshine time, physical exercise time, calcium intake and estrogen replacement therapy between the two groups(all P<0.05).The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that having diabetes history(OR=17.417,95%CI:3.937~77.043),having abnormally decreased bone mineral density(OR=13.714,95%CI:2.705~69.533),sunshine duration<1 h/d(OR=6.346,95%CI:1.686~23.883),physical exercise time<1 h/d(OR=6.480,95%CI:1.769~23.740),calcium intake<1 000 mg/d(OR=7.429,95%CI:1.966~28.075),and no estrogen re-placement therapy(OR=8.381,95%CI:2.020~34.768)were independent risk factors for the occurrence of VCF in PMOP patients(all P<0.05).Conclusion Having diabetes history, abnormally decreased bone mineral density,sun-shine duration<1 h/d,physical exercise time<1 h/d,calcium intake<1 000 mg/d,and no estrogen replacement therapy are independent risk factors for the occurrence of VCF in PMOP patients.
