Analysis of the Impact of Discharge Planning Programs Based on Behavior Change Theory on Self-efficacy and Quality of Life of Postoperative Lung Cancer Patients after Discharge
Objective To analyze the impact of discharge planning programs based on behavior change theory on self-efficacy and quality of life of postoperative lung cancer patients after discharge. Methods A total of 100 postoperative lung cancer patients admitted to the People's Hospital of Rugao from June to December 2023 were randomly selected as the research objects and divided into two groups according to different nursing measures, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine discharge guidance, and the observation group received discharge planning program intervention based on behavior change theory. The self-efficacy scores,cancer-related fatigue, quality of life and nursing satisfaction scores of the two groups were compared. Results Before intervention, the self-efficacy levels of the two groups were similar, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After intervention, the self-efficacy levels of both groups were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference were statistically significant(all P<0.05).At the same time, the scores of all dimensions of cancer-related fatigue in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were sta-tistically significant(both P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of the World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief of both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statistically significant differences(both P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observa-tion group was 94.00%(47/50),which was higher than that of the control group 80.00%(40/50),and the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.332,P<0.05).Conclusion The discharge planning program based on behavior change theory can effectively improve the self-efficacy and cancer-related fatigue of postoperative lung cancer pa-tients,improve the quality of life of patients, and increase patient nursing satisfaction.
