Analysis of the Influence of Predictive Nursing Model on the Occurrence of Complications,Quality of Life and Psychological State of ICU Stroke Patients
Objective To explore and analyze the influence of applying the predictive nursing model intervention on secondary epilepsy attacks, complications, quality of life and psychological conditions in stroke patients in the inten-sive care unit(ICU).Methods A total of 84 stroke patients admitted to the ICU of the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from October 2022 to October 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects.According to different nursing measures, they were divided into two groups, with 42 cases in each group. The control group re-ceived routine neurology nursing, and the observation group received routine neurology nursing plus predictive nurs-ing.The secondary epilepsy incidence, complication incidence, quality of life and psychological conditions of the two groups of patients were compared. Results After nursing, the total incidences of secondary epilepsy in different brain regions and complications in the observation group were 4.76%(2/42)and 2.38%(1/42),respectively,which were lower than 21.43%(9/42)and 19.05%(8/42)in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=5.126,4.480,both P<0.05).The quality of life of the observation group after nursing was higher than that of the con-trol group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)in the observation group after nursing were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Applying enhanced predictive nursing in-tervention in ICU stroke patients can improve their negative emotions, reduce the risk of secondary epilepsy, has high safety, and can improve the patients'quality of life.
