Analysis of the Application Effect of Nursing Intervention Based on Protec-tion Motivation Theory in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Objective To explore the application effect of nursing intervention based on protection motivation theory in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with inflammatory bowel disease admitted to Affiliated Yancheng First Hospital of Medical School of Nanjing University from January 2022 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to different intervention schemes,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the study group was combined with nursing intervention based on protection motivation theory.The psychological state,medication compliance,self-management ability and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of anxi-ety and depression scales in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statis-tically significant(both P<0.05).The excellent rate medication compliance of the study group was 95%(38/40),which was higher than 80.00%(32/40)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.114,P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of self-management ability and quality of life in the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of nursing intervention based on the theory of protective motivation for patients with inflammatory bowel disease can improve the patient's self-management abil-ity,medication compliance,improve bad mood and improve the quality of life.
