Clinical Effect Analysis of the Combination of Chinese Massage and Acu-puncture and Moxibustion in the Treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Ra-diculopathy
Objective To analyze the clinical value of traditional Chinese medicine(acupuncture combined with tradi-tional Chinese medicine massage)in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods A total of 96 pa-tients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy admitted to Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Janu-ary to December 2023 were conveniently selected as observation objects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 48 cases in each group. The control group received traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture therapy, and the observation group received acupuncture combined with massage therapy. The clinical effect,TCM syndrome score and quality of life score of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.83%(46/48)higher than 83.33%(40/48)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.019,P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in quality of life scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine massage combined with acupunc-ture can effectively treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Compared with single acupuncture therapy,it is more con-ducive to the reduction of clinical symptoms and can improve the quality of life of patients.
