Application Analysis of Duloxetine Combined with Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in the Treatment of Senile Depression
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of duloxetine combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in elderly patients with depression. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with depression admitted to Xia-men Fifth Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were randomly selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into conventional group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with duloxetine, and the observation group was treated with duloxetine com-bined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation. The depression, cognitive function and the incidence of ad-verse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the depression scale score of the observation group was lower than that of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the cognitive function of the observation group was better than that of the conventional group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group and the conventional group was 7.50%(3/40)and 12.50%(5/40),respectively,there was no significant difference between the two groups(χ2=0.139,P>0.05).Conclusion Duloxetine combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of senile depression can effectively improve the patient's condition and it does not increase adverse reac-tions.
