Clinical Effect and Prognosis Analysis of Damage Control Laparotomy in Patients with Severe Liver Trauma
Objective To investigate the clinical effect and prognosis of damage control laparotomy in patients with se-vere liver trauma. Methods A total of 60 patients with severe liver trauma admitted to Fuqing Rongqiang Hospital in Fuqing of Fujian Province from September 2021 to September 2023 were randomly selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine laparotomy, and the observation group was treated with damage control laparotomy. The treatment effect, inflammatory factor level, complications and fatality rate were compared be-tween the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate and total complication rate between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-α and inter-leukin-6 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).The fatality rate of the observation group was 0(0/30),which was lower than 20.00%(6/30)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.630,P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of damage control laparotomy in patients with severe liver trauma is definite, which can reduce the postoperative inflam-matory response and improve the prognosis of the disease.
