The Efficacy of Nebulized Inhalation of Acetylcysteine Combined with Bronchoscopy Lavage in the Treatment of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneu-monia(MPP)in Children
Objective To study the efficacy of aerosol inhalation of acetylcysteine combined with bronchoscopic lavage in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)in children.Methods A total of 92 children with MPP admitted to Lianyungang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects.According to different treatment schemes,they were divided into control group and study group,with 46 cases in each group.The control group was treated with bronchoscopy lavage,and the study group was treated with acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation.The duration of clinical symptoms,inflammatory indexes,im-mune function and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The duration of cough(4.19±1.01)d and shortness of breath(2.31±0.47)d in the study group were shorter than(5.51±1.13)d and(3.29±0.86)d in the con-trol group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.907,6.782,both P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in inflammatory indexes between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the level of inflam-matory factors in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the levels of immune function indexes between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the level of immune function index in the study group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Atomization in-halation of acetylcysteine combined with bronchoscopy lavage can reduce the level of MPP inflammation in children,improve the immune function of children,improve the overall treatment effect,and have high safety.
