Study on the Efficacy and Safety of Oxytocin Combined with Ergotrine in the Treatment of Postpartum Hemorrhage Caused by Uterine Fatigue
Objective To analyze the changes in therapeutic effect of combined administration of oxytocin and er-gotrine in postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine weakness, possible safety problems in treatment. Methods A total of 88 cases of postpartum hemorrhage with uterine fatigue treated in Chang'an Hospital of Dongguan City from Febru-ary 2019 to June 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group(n=44)and observation group(n=44)according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated with oxytocin alone, and the observation group was treated with oxytocin+ergotrine. The amount of postpartum bleeding, descending height of uterine floor, hemostatic effect and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results At 1 h,2 h,12 h and 24 h after delivery, the postpartum blood loss in the observation group was(74.39±9.12)mL,(102.18±13.42)mL,(125.33±28.74)mL and(173.21±28.49)mL,respectively,they were all lower than(88.64±9.50)mL,(140.19±18.66)mL,(179.51±30.20)mL and(230.76±32.81)mL in the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(t=7.178,10.970,8.621,8.785,all P<0.05).On the 3rd and 5th day after delivery, the descending height of uterine floor in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The hemostatic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the total effective rate of treatment was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of drug-related adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of oxytocin+ergometrine in parturients with postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine inertia can effectively improve the hemostatic efficiency and the safety of medication.
