The Effect of Acupuncture Combined with Yiqi Shujin Decoction on Pain in Neck Shoulder Low-Back and Leg and Its Effect on Pain Degree and Activity Function of Patients
Objective To study the effect of acupuncture combined with Yiqi Shujin Decoction in the treatment of pain in neck shoulder lowback and leg and its influence on the degree of pain and activity function of patients.Meth-ods A total of 100 patients with pain in neck shoulder lowback and leg who were admitted to Wuyishan Municipal Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected randomly as the research objects.They were divided into groups according to different treatment methods,with 50 cases in each group.The control group only received acu-puncture treatment.The observation group was treated with Yiqi Shujin Decoction based on the control group.The effi-cacy,traditional Chinese medicine syndromes,pain status and activity function of the two groups were compared.Re-sults The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.00%(48/50),which was higher than 80.00%(40/50)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.061,P=0.014).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of pain,swelling and limited activity in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the Visual Analogue Score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the duration of pain was shorter than that of the control group,and the frequency of attack was less than that of the control group,the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the Clinical Assessment Scale for Cervical Spondylo-sis,Constant-Murley Score,Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores and Lysholm Knee Score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Con-clusion Acupuncture combined with Yiqi Shujin decoction can improve the therapeutic effect on patients with pain in neck shoulder low-back and leg,more effectively relieve the symptoms and pain of patients,and accelerate the recov-ery of their activity function.
