Comparative Study on the Application and Effect of Semi-laminectomy Microsurgery and Total Laminectomy in the Treatment of Spinal Cord Tu-mors
Objective To investigate the effect of semi-laminectomy microsurgery and total laminectomy in the treat-ment of spinal cord tumors.Methods The clinical data of 50 patients with spinal cord tumor admitted to Longyan People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were retrospectively selected and divided into comparison group and exploration group according to different treatment methods,with 25 cases in each group.Patients in the comparison group received total laminectomy,and patients in the exploration group received semi-laminectomy micro-surgery.The surgical indexes,neurological function recovery,activity of daily living score and complication rate were compared between the two groups.Results The hospitalization time,operation time and drainage tube placement time of the exploration group were shorter than those of the comparison group,and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the comparison group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The neurological function classification of the exploration group was better than that of the comparison group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1 week and 1 month after surgery,the scores of activities of daily living in the exploration group were higher than those in the comparison group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the exploration group was 0.00%(0/25),which was lower than that in the compari-son group 24.00%(6/25),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.735,P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with total laminectomy,semi-laminectomy microsurgery has advantages in the treatment of spinal cord tumors,which can effectively reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss,shorten the operation time and the patients'recovery time,promote the recovery of neurological function,improve the patients'daily living activities,and reduce the incidence of complications.
