Analysis of the Efficacy and Safety of Perospirone Combined with Olan-zapine in the Treatment of Schizophrenia
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of perospirone combined with olanzapine in the treatment of pa-tients with schizophrenia.Methods A total of 80 patients with schizophrenia admitted to the Department of Psychiatry in The Fourth People's Hospital in Liaocheng from December 2021 to December 2023 were randomly selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into study group(n=40)and control group(n=40).The control group was treated with olanzapine,and the study group was treated with perospirone on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect,Positive and Negative Symptom Scale scores and blood lipid levels were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.00%(38/40),which was higher than 80.00%(32/40)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.114,P=0.042).After treatment,the scores of Positive and Negative Symptom Scale in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood lipid level of the study group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclu-sion The therapeutic effect of perospirone combined with olanzapine in the treatment of schizophrenia is great,which can improve the mental status of patients and regulate blood lipid metabolism.
