To Analyze the Effect of Saccharomyces Boulardii on Symptom Improve-ment and Inflammatory Indexes in Patients with Acute Infectious Diarrhea
Objective To study the effect of Saccharomyces boulardii on the improvement of symptoms and inflamma-tory indexes in patients with acute infectious diarrhea.Methods From February 2022 to February 2024,120 patients with acute infectious diarrhea diagnosed in Ningde People's Hospital were simple randomly selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,60 cases in each group.The control group received routine symptomatic treatment,and the observation group received saccharomyces boulardii treatment based on the treatment conditions of the control group.The efficacy,symptom im-provement,body inflammation index and medication safety of the two groups were compared.Results The total effec-tive rate of clinical medication in the observation group was 95.00%(57/60),which was higher than 83.33%(50/60)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.227,P=0.039).The time of symptoms returned to normal(fever,diarrhea,abdominal pain and vomiting)in the observation group were shorter than those in the con-trol group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After 5 days of treatment,the levels of inflam-matory index in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Saccharomyces boulardii has a good therapeutic effect on patients with acute infectious diarrhea,which can promote the improvement of patients'symptoms,reduce the body's inflammatory response,and is safe and reliable.
