Study on the Value of Budesonide and Salbutamol in improving Lung Function in Children with Asthma And Respiratory Virus Infection
Objective To analyze the effect of budesonide and salbutamol on lung function in the treatment of asthma with respiratory virus infection.Methods A total of 85 children with asthma and respiratory virus infection who were treated in Liaocheng People's Hospital from May 2022 to May 2024 were conveniently selected as the study subjects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group(n=42)and study group(n=43).The con-trol group was treated with salbutamol,and the study group was treated with salbutamol+budesonide.The symptom re-lief time,inflammatory factor levels,immune function and lung function were compared between the two groups.Re-sults After treatment,the symptom relief time of the study group was shorter than that of the control group,and the dif-ference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the study group were(39.17±5.62)ng/L,(32.06±7.83)ng/L and(8.12±0.96)mg/L,re-spectively,which were lower than(54.06±8.75)ng/L,(42.06±8.84)ng/L and(11.86±2.81)mg/L in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=9.357,5.524,8.250;all P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of im-munoglobulin A,immunoglobulin G,immunoglobulin M,cluster of differentiation 4 and cluster of differentiation 4/clus-ter of differentiation 8 in the study group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the arterial partial pressure of oxygen and oxygen saturation in arterial blood in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Children with asthma and respiratory virus infection were treated with budesonide and salbutamol to improve inflammation,regu-late immune function,promote lung function recovery,and shorten symptom relief time.
