Analysis of the Nursing Effect of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Combined with Progressive Muscle Relaxation Training on Lung Cancer Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy
Objective To explore the effect analysis of mindfulness-based stress reduction combined with progressive muscle relaxation training in the nursing of lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods Sixty lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical College from January to Decem-ber 2023 were simple randomly selected as study objects and divided into two groups according to different nursing measures, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received mindfulness-based stress reduction combined with progressive muscle relaxation training nursing. The cancer-related fatigue, anxiety and depression, and sleep quality were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of Piper Fatigue Revised Scale,Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Depression Scale, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index in the observation group were(2.38±0.56)points,(30.24±5.45)points,(33.53±5.27)points,and(5.12±1.06)points,respectively,which were lower than those in the control group[(3.89±0.47)points,(40.68±5.18)points,(43.67±5.18)points,(9.52±1.35)points],the differences were statistically significant(t=11.313,7.605,7.516,14.041;all P<0.05).Conclusion Mindfulness-based stress reduction combined with progressive muscle relaxation training can improve the physical and mental state of lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and maintain high-quality sleep.
