Analysis of the Application Effect of Combined Therapy of Simethicone and Omeprazole in Children with Functional Dyspepsia
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of simethicone combined with omeprazole in the treatment of functional dyspepsia in children.Methods The clinical data of 60 children with functional dyspepsia admitted to Long-yan People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were retrospectively selected.They were divided into combined group and single group according to different treatment methods,30 cases in each group.The single group was treated with omeprazole,and the combined group was treated combined with simethicone.The scores of discom-fort symptoms,gastric function index,treatment efficiency and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the discomfort symptom score of the combined group was significantly lower than that of the single group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The gastric function of the com-bined group was better than that of the single group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effec-tive rate of treatment in the combined group was 93.33%(28/30),which was significantly higher than 73.33%(22/30)in the single group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.320,P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the combined group was higher than that in the single group,but there was no statistical significance be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Simethicone therapy combined with omeprazole shows obvious therapeutic effect in the treatment of functional dyspepsia in children.It has a positive effect on relieving the symptoms of chil-dren and improving their gastric function.At the same time,the incidence of adverse reactions has not increased sig-nificantly.It can be considered as an effective treatment method for the treatment of functional dyspepsia in children.
