Study on the Efficacy of Tranexamic Acid Combined with Calcium Gluco-nate in Postpartum Hemorrhage
Objective To explore the effect of tranexamic acid combined with calcium gluconate in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. Methods The clinical data of 102 patients with postpartum hemorrhage admitted to Sanming First Hospital of Fujian Province from January 2023 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected.According to the differences in treatment methods, they were divided into control group and study group, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oxytocin;the study group was treated with oxytocin+tranexamic acid+calcium gluconate. The postpartum blood loss, adverse reactions, related indexes of coagulation function, lactic acid and lac-tate dehydrogenase, blood calcium and hemoglobin content were compared between the two groups. Results The blood loss at 2 hours,12 hours and 24 hours postpartum in the study group were less than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 5.88%(3/51),higher than 3.92%(2/51)in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=0.000,P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of fibrinogen and D-dimer in the study group were higher than those in the control group, while the prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of lactic acid and lac-tate dehydrogenase in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of blood calcium and hemoglobin in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The com-bined use of tranexamic acid and calcium gluconate is significantly effective in the treatment of patients with postpar-tum hemorrhage.
