A Study on the Impact of Enhanced Operating Room Nursing on BI Index in Patients Undergoing Total Hip Replacement Surgery
Objective To study the effect of perioperative intensive nursing on Barthel Index(BI)in patients with total hip replacement. Methods A total of 286 patients with total hip arthroplasty admitted to Chifeng City Hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing modes, they were divided into observation group and control group,143 cases in each group. The observation group received inten-sive perioperative nursing, while the control group received routine nursing. The functional exercise compliance rate,BI index, bad mood score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The functional exer-cise compliance rate of the observation group was 96.51%(138/143),which was higher than 83.22%(119/14)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=13.852,P<0.001).After nursing, the BI index of the observation group(87.78±9.21)points was significantly higher than that of the control group(74.56±8.56)points,and the difference was statistically significant(t=15.059,P<0.05);after nursing, the score of bad mood in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Intensive nursing intervention during perioperative period can improve the activities of daily living of patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty, further improve the patients'bad mood, and im-prove the patients'exercise compliance rate, and the overall satisfaction is high.
