Structural Safety and Review Analysis of Kitano Gate
Taking the Kitanoba Lock as an example, the structural safety of sluice is deeply studied and analyzed. The base stress,anti-sliding stability and anti-floating stability of the sluice are reviewed with reference to the sluice design specifications. The three-dimensional finite element method is used to review and analyze the bearing safety of the sluice chamber structure of Kitano lock, including the normal water level operation, water level change in the case of earthquake along river and transverse river. The results show that the base stress, safety factor of anti-sliding stability and anti-floating stability of the Kitanoba lock chamber meet the requirements of the specification. The concrete structure of the lock chamber is not stressed, and the existing reinforcement can meet the bearing capacity requirements.According to the relevant provisions of the"Guidelines for Sluice Safety Evaluation",the safety of Kitano sluice structure meets the standard requirements and is assessed as grade A.
