Haihe Tide Gate is a key water conservancy project in the lower reaches of Haihe River Basin,and also a cultural relic protection unit in Tianjin.It is an important witness of Haihe River control and a material carrier of revolutionary spirit in the 1950s.The construction of Haihe Tide Gate reinforcement project should not only restore the function of water conservancy facilities,but also meet the requirements of cultural relics protection law and take into account the heritage of history and culture.Based on the history and cultural relics value of Haihe Tide Gate,this paper analyzes the current situation and problems of cultural relics protection in water conservancy project construction,and puts forward the strategies and measures of cultural relics protection in water conservancy project construction.
