This article analyzes the advantages and challenges of GPS-RTK technology in the completion measurement of water conservancy projects, and proposes an improved detection method. In order to make up for the lack of accuracy of GPS-RTK in elevation measurement, the elevation fitting method is used to calculate the elevation anomalies of the data points to obtain the elevation values of the data points under the normal high system, thereby improving the detection accuracy and meeting the needs of water conservancy projects. In order to demonstrate the feasibility of the method proposed in this article,it was validated in actual engineering completion projects, and suitable fitting methods were selected based on the terrain and detection requirements of the study area.Higher accuracy data was obtained through experiments to prove the feasibility of this method in the completion inspection of water conservancy projects.
