Water Quality Evolution Trend Analysis of Binzhou Yellow River Diversion Plain Reservoir
The water quality evolution trend and reasons of 17 Yellow River Diversion Plain reservoirs in Binzhou City are analyzed, using the seasonal Kendall test method and the water quality data series of the past 20 years. The results indicate that the pollution of reservoir water quality shows a significant reduction trend, the salinization of water quality shows a significant reduction or stable trend, and the concentration of nutrients is stable and continuously at a high level. The main reasons for the evolution are the improvement of the water quality of the Yellow River, effective measures for controlling salinization, and the sustained long-term impact of external to internal sources. There is a risk of eutrophication affecting the safety of water supply quality, and effective control of internal pollution is necessary.
