Influencing Factors of Water and Sediment Changes in Sandy and Coarse Sand Areas in the Middle Reaches of the Yellow River
The Loess Plateau in the middle of the Yellow River has suffered severe erosion. With the implementation of the governance project, the regional soil and water conservation rate has increased year by year, and the ecology has improved significantly. This study selected Xinshui river in the middle reaches as the research area. The use of water and sand data, drone images, and silt dam-based data analysis time sequence of water and sand changes, quantitative calculation of rainfall and human activity pairs of human activities pairs. The contribution rate of sand reduction benefits. The results show that the amount of sediment transported in this area has significantly reduced, human activities play a dominant role, and its impact on runoff and sediment has increased significantly after 2003.
