As an important discharge structure, the health and stability of the reservoir spillway during construction are necessary prerequisites and safety guarantees for subsequent normal flood discharge. Therefore, this article focuses on safety monitoring and analysis of the tunnel spillway of the Yousha Reservoir under construction, including deformation monitoring and analysis, reinforcement stress monitoring and analysis, seepage pressure and deformation monitoring and analysis between the surrounding rock and lining. The results show that the deformation of the spillway itself gradually decreases, and the structure tends to stabilize, with a maximum deformation of-0.21mm.The stress characteristics of the steel bars in each monitoring section are different.Due to the gravity of the structure itself and the shrinkage of the concrete, the steel bars at the measuring point are mainly under compression. However, the steel bars inside the bottom plate of the Y0+276.00 section are subjected to a tensile force of 2.57kN.The seepage pressure of each monitoring section and the gap between the tunnel lining and surrounding rock have not changed much. The excavation construction of the energy dissipation section foundation at the outlet of the spillway tunnel has caused a change in the water pressure environment of the Y0+194.00 section, resulting in negative pressure. All monitoring data is normal, and the tunnel spillway is in a safe and stable state during the construction period.
