Utilization Structure and Trends of Non-conventional Water Resources in Haihe River Basin
The utilization of non-conventional water resources plays a significant role in enhancing water supply, reducing pollution, optimizing water resource allocation systems, and improving water resource utilization efficiency, which is an inherent requirement for high-quality development. This article quantitatively examines the utilization structure of non-conventional water resources in the Haihe River Basin over the past 4 years and the changing trend of the utilization amount of non-conventional water resources over the past 20 years. The spatial distribution characteristics of non-conventional water resource utilization in the Haihe River Basin are also analyzed. The results indicate that recycled water is the main non-conventional water resource in the Haihe River Basin, and the overall water consumption of non-conventional water resources in the basin demonstrates a steady growth trend. The eastern and central regions of the basin are the main utilization areas for the utilization of non-conventional water resources, accounting for approximately 70%of the total non-conventional water consumption in the basin. The results of this article will provide guidance for promoting the utilization of non-conventional water resources in the Haihe River Basin.
