Since the reform and opening up,domestic engineering insurance has developed rapidly.With the improvement of risk management awareness in the field of engineering construction,engineering insurance has gradually become an important part of engineering construction and plays an important role in national key engineering projects.In the water conservancy industry,engineering insurance provides important guarantees for the construction of a series of major water conservancy projects in my country,but it also faces many challenges.By summarizing the relevant experience of engineering insurance in the construction of the Haihe tidal gate risk removal and reinforcement project,combined with the current status of engineering insurance development in the field of water conservancy engineering construction,and targeting the problems of engineering insurance in water conservancy engineering construction projects,development suggestions and measures are proposed from the aspects of engineering insurance talent training,insurance premium assessment methods,insurance types and structures.
