Influence of Environmental Factors on Water Quality in Different Precipitation Years
Through water quality testing in Ying River headwater basin from July to September 2019 and 2021,multiple stepwise linear regression analysis and redundancy analysis was used to examine the relationship be-tween environmental factors and water quality. The results showed that pH value and EC value in the basin were high in 2019(normal year),and N and P contents were high in 2021(wet year),indicating that heavy precipita-tion might lead to water eutrophication, while normal precipitation was more likely to cause inorganic pollution. The overall water quality change in normal years was related to the proportion of agricultural land area and the aver-age altitude, which accounted for 31.1%and 18.6%of the total explanatory rate, respectively. The main factors affecting overall water quality change in wet years were the proportion of agricultural land area and patch density, accounting for 26.1%and 15.9%of the total explanatory rate, respectively.Environmental factors accounted for 74.2%and 69.3%of the total explanatory rate of water quality change in normal and wet years, respectively.
